I had an amazing stay at a cozy lodge with a amazing view of Aoraki. The changing colors of the snow-covered mountains were nice, especially during sunrise and sunset. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Visitor Centre and Alpine Centre. The lodge staff were really good and were really nice too make my holiday nice. The room, kitchenette, and bathroom werenice and neat. The lodge also offered discounts to local restaurants and organized bookings for various activities.

Amazing views of the mountains from the communal deck and some rooms. The communal kitchen was well-stocked and had a lovely view. Great location, just a minute's walk from the information centre and convenient for nearby walks.
The WiFi was unreliable and slow, and could only be used on one device at a time. Limited facilities in the rooms, such as only one toaster and kettle.

Great View and Location: The hotel is situated at the foothills of the majestic Mount Cook and offers breathtaking views of the Southern Alpine Range. The location is easily accessible by car and is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature. Cozy and Comfortable Rooms: Although the rooms were small in size, they were cozy and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring.
Thin Walls: Unfortunately, the walls in the rooms were quite thin, which meant that noise from neighboring rooms could be easily heard. This lack of sound insulation made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Value for $ for its location. The shared kitchen exceeded my expectations and was a great place to meet fellow travelers. The view from the communal area was fantastic. They even provided a cot for our baby at no charge.
Even though there were a few drawbacks, I would still recommend this hotel.
